Poster terms
What you can do with trebly posters, free and custom, in plain words.
Free posters
Print as many copies as you like for your home, studio or classroom, and hand them out to students. Please don’t sell the posters or upload the files elsewhere. Link to the posters page instead, so people always get the latest version.
Custom posters
A poster you make in the poster maker is a print-ready PDF for personal, classroom and school use.
You can:
- print as many copies as you like for your home, studio, classroom or school
- share it with colleagues at your own school, for their classrooms
- give printed copies to your own students, family and friends
- have it printed at a print shop or photo lab
Please don’t:
- sell the PDF, or prints of it
- share the file for others to download, or upload it to websites or marketplaces (for example Teachers Pay Teachers or Etsy)
- remove the order code printed small at the bottom: it tells us which purchase a copy came from
For several schools (a district, for example), or to use a poster in something you sell, email support@trebly.fun first.
Your download and your free fix
Your download link works for 30 days after you pay, so save the PDF somewhere safe. If you spot a typo, you can fix it once for free within those 30 days, from the same page. The corrected PDF replaces the first one.
Refunds
Your right to cancel (UK and EU). Online purchases usually come with 14 days to cancel. For a download made straight away, that right ends once you’ve agreed to immediate supply and acknowledged losing it, which you do in the “Before you buy” box. We confirm this in your “Your poster is ready” email.
Because you see your exact poster before you buy and get the file straight away, we can’t refund a change of mind. If your poster has a fault we can’t put right (it won’t download, it doesn’t match what the editor showed you, or it won’t print properly), email support@trebly.fun and we’ll fix it or refund you. When an order is refunded, its download closes.
Printing
Colors on paper never match a screen exactly, and they vary between printers, papers and print shops. Dark backgrounds are the most sensitive. Before a large print, print a small test first, for example on Letter or A4 at home.
Print at 100% (actual size) on the paper size you chose. “Fit to page”, or a smaller sheet, makes everything smaller, text included. The poster maker shows the text size and warns before you buy when the text prints small, so we can’t refund a poster because the text is too small.
Your PDF is made to print accurately, but we can’t control how a printer reproduces it, so we can’t refund a poster or pay for printing because the colors came out differently. If you’d like a lighter look, your free fix can switch your poster to a white or cream page. Our responsibility is limited to the price you paid for the PDF.
Payment
Checkout is handled by Stripe, which takes the payment, works out any sales tax or VAT, and sends your receipt. We never see your card details. Purchases are sold through Link, Stripe’s checkout. Refund requests made to Link are decided by Link, which may take these terms into account.
